Once again I would like to welcome you all to my blog and thank everyone for there kind comments. Mayans 2012 really has taken over my life and I’ve found it a fascinating subject to find more about.
As you are all aware from my previous posts, after watching the film 2012 with my wife, I wanted to find out a bit more about Mayans 2012 and whether it is something we should really be worried about. So after reading the book ‘2012 Contact – are you ready for it?’ I am pleased to tell you I am a lot more clear on the subject and would like to answer a few of the questions I  was looking at in previous posts. As well as this I would like to give a bit of a review on ‘2012 Contact – are you ready for it?’…….so here goes;

‘Who are the Mayans?’
The Mayans are often credited with being one of the most advanced of all cultures found in the Americas. Credited with being the first culture in the New World to utilize a fully developed written language, as well as being innovators in art, architecture, and the sciences of mathematics and astronomy.

‘What is the Mayan 2012 calender?’
The Maya calendar is a system of distinct calendars and almanacs used by the Mayan people. The Mayan people believe these calendars can predict major events that will have throughout time.

‘What are the 2012 Mayan prophecies?’
The Mayan calendar points to 22 December 2012 as being the end of our present age.

Now I know these are very short answers, but if I go anymore indepth on them, I/we will be here forever (well at least till 22 December 2012 hahaha). This is also the reason it would be difficult for me to answer all the other little questions I mentioned (what is Nostradamus 2012? what is going to happen after Mayans prediction? will it actually be end of the world 2012? what does Doomsday 2012 mean for me?). It seems that everyone I speak to has a question on the matter, so I would highly recommend you buy the book 2012 Contact and these are the reasons why;

‘2012 Contact – are you ready for it?’
As you can all tell, I’m no Stephan Hawkins!!! So I was looking for a book that would answer my question ‘What is Mayans 2012 all about and should I be worried???’ in very simple and easy English. I wanted the writer to explain to me exactly what Mayans 2012 was in simple terms, before moving onto a more indepth look at the Mayan people. Well this book certainly does that!!! The author has really done his research when finding out exactly what questions people are wanting answered and also explains things in both detail, but also in a language everyday people can relate to. Each chapter is well thought out and really get you thinking in a way that you find you don’t want to put it down (the ‘just one more chapter’ saying was used more times in my house, my wife would say it before I did hahaha).
My only criticism is that my original question was ‘What is Mayans 2012 all about and should I be worried???’. When you read this book, you will realise that this question cannot be fully answered until 22 December 2012. But I have certainly made my mind up!!! But I think it would be mighty unfair of me to tell you and would be much better you made your mind up yourself after reading this fascinating book.

Hi everyone and thank you for either returning to my page or visiting my page for the first time. Just to briefly recap the reason for my page, it is to answer the following question…..

‘What is Mayans 2012 all about and should I be worried???’

……as well as hopefully finding out more on…….

-what exactly is the ‘Mayan calendar 2012’?

-what are the ‘2012 Mayan prophecies’?

-is ‘Mayan’ actually predicting ‘end of the world 2012’?

……and to do this I have purchased ‘2012 Contact – are you ready for it?’, which is one of the leading books around on Mayans 2012 and am going to do a plain and simple review on what I find.

Now I have actually become a little obsessed with this and it is now starting to take over all my spare time (much to the wife’s annoyance). I have found a couple of blogs on Mayans 2012 and after speaking to other people that are interested in the subject, I am now hoping to find out the following as well;

-what is ‘Nostradamus 2012’?

-what is going to happen after ‘Mayans prediction’?

-will it actually be ‘end of the world 2012’?

-what does ‘Doomsday 2012’ mean for me’?

I know some of the above questions may seem silly, but I did say my page was going to be an idiots guide to ‘Mayans 2012’ and I don’t mind making myself look a bit daft.

Hi and thank you for taking a look at my web page. My name is Jonathan and I have just been to see the film ‘2012’ with my other half. After watching the film we went to our local for a bite to eat and got chatting about what we had just seen. After enjoying a starter, main course and sharing a desert (oh and not forgetting a bottle of the house’s finest), we still couldn’t answer the following;

‘What is Mayans 2012 all about and should I be worried???’

After further discussion’s with friends and family, talking about Mayan prophecy 2012 and taking a look at the Mayan calendar 2012, I decided  I would  buy one of the most popular e-books on the net and write an idiots review on my findings.

As well as answering ‘what is Mayans 2012 and should I be worried?’, I am hoping to find out more on the following;

-what exactly is the ‘Mayan calendar 2012’?

-what are the ‘2012 Mayan prophecies’?

-is ‘Mayan’ actually predicting ‘end of the world 2012’?

The book I have purchased and will be reviewing is called ‘2012 Contact – are you ready for it?’.
